Malmö, Sweden – 2025-03-11 – The Swedish Society for Rheumatology is pleased to announce that registration and abstract submission are now open for the 40th Scandinavian Congress of Rheumatology (SCR 2025), taking place in Malmö, Sweden, from September 3-6, 2025.

The congress will be held at Malmö Live, a centrally located venue just a short walk from Malmö Central Station and a convenient 30-minute journey from Copenhagen Airport. The Scandinavian Congress of Rheumatology is a bi-annual scientific congress owned by the Scandinavian Society of Rheumatology. It is an important meeting place for clinicians and scientists in rheumatology to exchange knowledge and experiences, and to promote collaboration and networking. It is an opportunity for both young and  stablished clinicians and scientists to meet across Scandinavian borders and is also an important educational event. Moreover, it is a unique platform for collaboration with Nordic health professionals, and the congress also facilitates interaction with the pharmaceutical industry.

This year it is hosted by The Swedish Society for Rheumatology (Svensk Reumatologisk Förening) in Malmö.
