PHD COURSE ON GUT BIOLOGY, 20-23 APRIL
Together with universities in Denmark and Germany, the Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy is hosting a PhD course on Gut Biology, taking place on 20-23 April 2026 at Sinatur Hotel Gl. Avernæs in Denmark. We welcome all PhD students interested in the programme to apply.
With the event, we aim to forge networks and collaborations across borders and between early-career and senior researchers. The scientific programme offers new perspectives and the most recent, exciting developments, hands-on work, short-talks by early-career researchers, poster presentations, informal talks with senior scientists and much more.

The deadline for applying is 8 March 2026. Participants will be selected based on abstract. The organisers offer accommodation and meals for all participants for the duration of the course.
NAVIGATING THE COMPLEXITIES OF ULTRA-PROCESSED FOODS, 4 MAY
Join us for an exciting day of science and networking at Arla Foods’ Head Office near Aarhus, Denmark as we will explore the timely and highly relevant topic of ultra-processed foods (UPFs).
The event will bring together leading scientific experts from Denmark and abroad to address key questions such as: What is UPF?, why foods are processed, and what current research suggests about potential health implications and underlying mechanisms.

NEUROENDOCRINE CONTROL OF ENERGY METABOLISM: PATHWAYS TO THERAPY, 28-29 MAY
Over a two-day symposium, we will explore the intersection of neuroscience and endocrinology. The program will highlight novel circuits, emerging technologies, new perspectives on energy homeostasis and disease mechanisms, and much more through scientific sessions, short talks by early-career researchers and poster sessions.
The symposium is jointly organised by Neuroscience Academy Denmark and Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy and takes place at University of Copenhagen, Panum building.
