Lumbosacral plexopathy is less common than brachial plexopathy and can be more difficult to diagnose and manage. When an injury occurs to the lumbosacral plexus, patients predominantly experience pain, weakness, and sensory loss. Lumbosacral plexopathies are often misdiagnosed as radiculopathies and focal or multifocal neuropathies. This lecture outlines the electrodiagnostic evaluation, and the common presentations of the lumbosacral plexopathies.

- Identify the relevant anatomical aspects important to identify a lumbosacral plexopathy.
- Review the appropriate history, physical, and evaluation of lumbosacral plexopathy.
- Outline the electrodiagnostic tests available for evaluation of lumbosacral plexopathies.
- Describe the clinical presentation of lumbosacral plexopathies in different medical conditions.
