Innkallingsintervaller bør tilpasses individuelt basert på pasientens behov og risikoprofil. Unngå standardiserte rutiner som ikke tar hensyn til individuell vurdering.
Overbehandling og unødvendige undersøkelser kan føre til sløsing med ressurser og pasientens tid. En pasientsentrert tilnærming styrker tilliten og gir bedre helseutfall. Avtal innkallingstidspunkt med pasienten og forklar bakgrunnen for anbefalingen.
Ikke bygg under pasienters frykt for problemer som kan oppstå.
